The Printer being under particular obligations to the
inhabitants of Hartford, thinks it incumbent on him to
chronicle in his Gazetteer, the following sprightly strains
of their accomplished Poet.
    Copied from the Hartford Gazetteer.
An occasional Conversation between a Lodger and his
Landlord, upon burning a number of Rivington's Gazetteers.
Lodger. What flame, so sudden, thus attracts mine eye?

Landlord. News, Sir, 'tis but an ass-skin daub'd with
grease
And lamb-black, in a dirty press.
